Nova Bank launched with a bold vision: to bring a fresh, community-focused approach to banking. From the very beginning, our mission has been to combine personal service with innovative thinking. Since our launch, we’ve grown steadily—building relationships, earning trust, and expanding our impact across the community. Every milestone along the way has fueled our momentum, and we’re just getting started.
Marc Minish had the vision to launch a new kind of community bank—one built from the ground up with a focus on relationships, service, and local impact. He set out on the journey to make it a reality, rallying a group of dedicated investors who would become the Organizers and Founders of Nova Bank.
Nova Bank received its conditional charter, marking a major step forward in turning the vision into reality. With conditional regulatory approval in place, the team accelerated efforts to build the infrastructure, systems, and team needed to bring Nova to life.
With the conditional charter in hand, Nova launched its capital raise—gaining strong support from local investors who believed in the mission and momentum of a true community bank. Their investment provided the foundation needed to officially bring Nova to life.
With the capital raise successfully completed and all regulatory conditions met, Nova received its official charter. What began as a bold idea was now fully approved and ready for launch. This milestone marked the official green light to begin operations and open our doors to the community.
Nova Bank operated with a soft opening for several months, welcoming our first customers and fine-tuning operations. With systems in place and momentum building, we officially opened our doors to the public—marked by a ribbon cutting and the beginning of a new era in community banking.
